Summary
During
the financial year 2003/04, the economy grew at a faster rate
than the last financial year: 5.8% compared to 4.9%. Higher
economic growth was achieved because of continued macroeconomic
stability and the recovery in the food-crop sub-sector due
to adequate and timely rains.
